You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has resided in Canada for at least 3 out of the last 5 years. You need to be at least 18 years old to apply and 19 by the time you graduate from training.

You must have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification such as a GED certificate. You’ll need to submit Canadian transcripts showing graduation or an equivalency assessment.

No, you only need to be proficient in either English or French. Additional languages are considered an asset but not required.

The process includes nine stages: submitting an online application, watching a career presentation video, completing the RCMP online entrance assessment, submitting required forms and documents, completing a suitability interview, and undergoing medical, psychological, field investigation, and security assessments.
